Ernesto Bedmar
Ernesto Bedmar, an Argentinian, graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree in 1980 from the University of Architecture & Town Planning, Argentina. Bedmar’s career began in 1977 when he did practical work in the studio at Miguel Angel Roca, Argentina.
“Poetry in architecture is a written form of the visual, the superposition of volumes, shapes, shadows, and so on, led by emotions.” Bedmar believes that a sanctuary will always be something related to nature, that is why he is embracing the use of natural elements as much as possible. By creating different senses, like the sounds of water, the movement of the fire, as well as the shadows of trees into walls and so on, is what create the poetry.
